Reinvention focuses on my efforts to transform systems and culture at the City Colleges of Chicago, one of the nation’s largest community college systems.
As someone who has been fortunate to work in both the public and private sector, I have a deep understanding of the importance of embracing change and continuous improvement. As chancellor at City Colleges, I witnessed the passion and commitment of students who were seeking a piece of the American dream, and I realized I must continue to be a champion for students at community colleges across the nation and offer lessons learned on how to drive change in an organization.
In writing this book, my goal is to share my experience and insights to help other leaders navigate transformation in their organizations while preparing for the challenges that come with doing so.
